I tried to use Lloyd Hallowell to install some new lights in my ceiling. I told them it was 3m high and the contractor they sent only had a step stool and was unable to even touch the ceiling. When I initially booked with them, they asked me to move all furniture out of the way and cover everything to protect it from dust, so I spent a large portion of my evening and morning prepping everything for them. By contrast when the contractor arrived they hadn't even been told by the dispatcher what job they had been sent to do.
If you are looking for an electrician who is organized and comes prepared to do the job right the first time, I would not recommend Lloyd Hallowell

I got in contact with Lloyd regarding an electrical issue I had some concerns about and he took the time out on a Sunday evening to write out a thorough response explaining the issue and putting my mind at ease as no work was required. And all in a knowledgeable and friendly manner without at any point trying to extract any consultancy fee from me. In fact he wouldn't accept anything even when offered. Given that many seem to have had the same positive experience I will definitely be using lloyd should I require any electrical work done. Its inspiring to see such professionalism and fairness.
